Description: Provides an Ethernet connection in a conference room. Service is ordered by event sponsor or exhibitor prior to the event. The service will be set up prior to the event starting, along with the booth, lectern, tables, etc. Cable is run to the booth or table with enough extra cable that the exhibitor could then run the cable to their computer anywhere in the booth or on the table. Cables are taped to the floor for safety.

Cost: $225 for a single Ethernet service in a meeting room, or $300 for service to a booth at a conference due to the additional cabling and tape down required.

Applications: Demonstrations, for example, when coupled with an LCD projector. This can be a powerful tool in that a new system, application or process can be shown to your audience, as a live demonstration, rather than static pictures. This allows Q&A to be more effective, in that answers can be demonstrated rather than just verbally explained. It also allows you to respond more effectively to unanticipated questions.

Administration, for registering attendees, or taking membership. Rather than creating information on paper and entering it later, information can be entered directly into your system saving effort and reducing errors. Customers can look at the info as entered and confirm its accuracy. A printer can be connected, allowing you to provide a receipt and confirmation form on the spot.
